About Elizabeth
Elizabeth would be honored to serve the Chesterfield County community and Clover Hill District residents! She humbly asks for your vote.
Born in Richmond, Elizabeth grew up in a military family, moving often and living across the country throughout her father’s career and deployments, so she deeply understands the challenges military-connected students face, as well as those families who deal with transferring schools and school districts.
Elizabeth and her husband Brian have four adult sons, all Eagle Scouts and the youngest of whom just graduated from Clover Hill High School. As parents, they navigated IEPs and 504s, so Elizabeth brings personal experience and compassion for families needing access services to support successful outcomes for their children.
As a former professional senior contracts and negotiation manager, Elizabeth has 25+ years of operational and organizational experience serving private industry and large, complex public organizations, including the U.S. Department of Education, the Virginia Department of Education, Fairfax County Public Schools, the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Customs Service, U.S. Treasury, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF), and Secret Service.
With an accomplished background in business and public service, Elizabeth will draw from her significant education and public policy expertise at local, state, and federal levels to go to work for you!
